CONFEDERACIÓN ESPAÑOLA DE CENTROS DE ENSEÑANZA
The Spanish Confederation of Education and Training Centers (CECE) is a non-profit employers´ and professional organization founded in 1977. It represents a wide educational sector in Spain from nursery school to university level. It has more than 2.000 Education and training centers among its members.
CECE institutional roles are: the management of updating for educational agreements; the negotiation of the collective agreements for this sector; the representation of this sector in the collegiate boards with educational participation; institutional presence in the Spanish Employers Organization (CEOE) and in some international organizations in which it takes an active role as well as the relationship and contacts with Education Public Authorities. CECE is member of the international organizations: EFVET (European Forum for Technical and Vocational Education and Training), ESHA (European School Headmaster Association) and ECNAIS (European Council of National Associations of Independent Schools).
CECE gives support to his members in 5 areas: (1) organization of LLL courses for teachers; (2) implementation of technological innovation in its members; (3) internationalization of the members; (4) Assistance in the implementation of the EFQM Excellence Model in its member institutions. (5) Legal consultancy for the member institutions.
CECE´s educational profile has widened with the constitution of its Foundation (Fundación Ángel Martínez Fuertes) in 1996 that centres its activities on social inclusion through training of unemployed persons, persons over 45, women, disabled persons, immigrants.
STUCOM CENTRE D’ESTUDIS is a private training organization founded in 1980 in Barcelona. It delivers secondary, vocational and adult education with 1000 students and 52 teachers, we have the accreditation issued by the Government in Spain to train adults who want to be teachers to do their practical training at Stucom. We also offer , in company training and funded courses for unemployed people and Vocational training on E-Learning basis through our E-Learning platform.
Stucom follows UNE-EN-ISO 9001/ 2008 Quality Standards and has got the Quality accreditation. We also have an agreement with CISCO network systems and our student are trained to pass their exams. Stucom is a Microsoft Academy an Unesco School working closely with these two organizations.
Our organization has worked for more than 13 years in European projects
Gausdal videregående skole, Pierre de Coubertin, is a public upper secondary school providing education for students aged 16 – 19.
The school is situated in the rural municipality of Gausdal, Norway, about 230 km north of Oslo.
In Gausdal videregående skole, PdC, the students can choose either General Theoretical Studies, Sports and Physical Education or Media and Communication. For the time being the school has 370 students and a staff of 70, but the number of students changes from one year to another. As from August 2015 there will most likely be more than 400 students.
International projects have ever since 2001 been an important part of the school, and approximately 450 students have participated in project meetings abroad during the last 14 years. Our school has participated in 6 Comenius projects, 5 Nordplus projects and one Leonardo project. In addition, about 250 students have taken part in educational trips in countris like the UK, Spain and France. More than 40 teachers and other staff have accompanied our students on trips abroad.
Gausdal videregående skole is a Pierre de Coubertin school, which means it is a member of the PdC school network, along with 22 other schools from all over the world.
Every year some of our students are given special PdC education, and they attend PdC Youth Forums in other countries. Our school has hosted one of the Youth Forums, and students as well as teachers will play an important part in the Youth Olympics in Lillehammer 2016.
Gausdal videregående skole, Pierre de Coubertin, appreciates the importance of international cooperation between students, teachers and management, as it is obvious that everybody has a lot to gain by working across borders.
ERIFO Vocational Educational Training
ERIFO is an accredited VET provider, authorized by the Region Lazio (resolution by Lazio Region n. B06642 date 25/09/2012). It is also accredited to the Ministry of Education for the lifelong learning of staff school, for both traditional and distance-learning courses. Recently it has obtained the accreditation as “Body providing career guidance, professional counselling and information services”. So far we have brokered for a job for more than 100 users, of which more than an half are women with law, medium and high skills, academic qualifications and professional ambitions. ERIFO is supporting young people and adults into employment, education and new business creation through apprenticeships and VET as well as through such services as educational guidance, help desk and support for the development of new business ideas and start up. ERIFO is engaged in providing VET courses for employed and unemployed, professionals and teachers, both in classroom environment and at a distance (E-Learning). In addition, ERIFO is currently delivering specific assistance services to the organizations of its own network, for accessing national and EU funding (especially in VET and business sector). ERIFO’s mission is to contribute to the reinforcement of Vocational Education Training system at local, national and European level to ensure the development of human capital and to respond to the ever-growing needs and demands of the labour market. ERIFO realizes training courses for employed, unemployed and professional adults. The topics for which ERIFO is qualified are: educational services, social and health services, eco-environmental services, development of new business and management competences, services for the publishing industry, IT services, and event management. ERIFO is especially specialised in the design, development, implementation and evaluation of skills, learning and VET programmes, with an expertise in terms of interfacing between VET, employment and employability, enterprises and cultural level.
IT WORLD BG
Association “IT World BG”
Association “IT-World.BG” is a public non-profit NGO established in 2009 with annual financial turnover between 10,000 and 20,000 EUR. Its team consists of information technologies professionals that have been previously involved in different e-Government and e-Learning development projects. Its main mission is to assist the development and modernization of e-society in Bulgaria and Europe. “IT World BG” has a successful background in the deployment of e-Learning solutions and the development of digital literacy courses. The company has also a registered Cisco Networking Academy offering various IT trainings.
The organization has a portfolio of number of different projects including EU funded projects like “SISC – Senior Intergenerational Social Capital” (2010-2011), “COMPAT.eGov – European Competence Model for eGovernment” (2010-2012), “Cross-border Cooperation and Networking through e-learning and Career Development” (2013-2014). Among the other key experiences such as training and support of IT systems “IT World BG” has proven experience in the deployment of e-Learning solutions – projects like “Deployment of Moodle e-Learning platform for the Bulgarian “Global Libraries” Program” (2012-2013). The company is also a registered training provider offering digital literacy courses and Cisco networking academy e-learning courses from 2010. Because of the close collaboration with governmental organizations during its projects, one of the main target groups of the company is public servants in the Bulgarian central government.
ITA EMILIO SERENI
ITA Emilio Sereni
The ITA Emilio Sereni is a public agricultural secondary school with a real firm inside the school system.
The school is named after Emilio Sereni, writer, partisan, politician and agricultural historian, who was born in Rome at the beginning of the 20th century.
The Agricultural Technical Institute “Emilio Sereni” is a well-established school within technical higher education. It consists of three different sites located in the territory of Rome: the head school is in Via Prenestina n. 1395, and the branch school is in Via della Colonia Agricola. Finally, in the hinterland, there is the new separate branch located in the Municipality of San Vito Romano.
There are only ten schools like this in Italy. All the 630 students have the opportunity to study in three main courses:
– General Agriculture
– Environmental studies
The first two courses are organised in five years, while the Oenology course, due to its peculiarity, is organised in a six-year course even if the sixth year is not compulsory. Our students can combine study and work at the same time. Target issues in the school include the opportunity to participate in international projects.
The school is situated in the outskirts of Rome, in the middle of the countryside. Here students can study and work in a firm of 40 acres. During the courses, students will acquire practical skills and theoretical knowledge about their field of study.
The school is well equipped. We have our own laboratories, vineyard, olive yard and greenhouse. By Italian law, all the products, produced in the school are strictly organic.
The school has intensive contacts with firms and partners in the region.
Our courses in Agricultural Development focuses on sustainable agriculture and provides with a scientific and practical knowledge about the production of plants, livestock, food processing.
T.C. MİLLÎ EĞİTİM BAKANLIĞI
Elazig City Department of Education is a formal intstitution which was founded with the proclamation of the republic in 1923 as a provincial organization in charge of education and training. There are 482 intuitions including mainstream schools and informal education intuitions and 121.518 students within our intuition. There are 6704 teachers and 688 managers working in these schools and institutions. Every year, approximately 250-300 are appointed in 87 branches to our city and this number is 36.837 in total in our country. Those who are appointed to our city for the first time are required to get basic, preparation and practical education to become permanent civil servant and this education is provided by our institution. This education has been provided to candidate teachers and civil servant since 1996 when the regulation about training candidate teachers of Ministry of Education was released. Furthermore, we provide Professional development training for all teachers in our city to update their knowledge on technology and its effective usage in the classroom. The main responsibility of our institution is taking necessary steps for conducting coordinated education in the light of Law of National Education.
Since 1996 our institution has been responsible for training teachers following the Constitution of Turkish Republic, Atatürk’s principles reforms and Turkish Nationalism principles which are mentioned in the Constitution of Turkish Republic. The aim is to follow the principles of equality and impartiality, to love our country and its citizens to develop , leadership skills as well as to be helpful to the people.
The people who will take part in this Project are well-qualified and experts on training candidate teachers who will work efficiently without wasting any sources as required during their service for their nation. These are; the director of national education who is responsible for the whole institution, the department managers who are responsible for planning training places and for coordinating with other institutions, education inspectors who will supervise the teaching-learning process , experienced school principals who are responsible for in training at schools, Counseling and Research Center Principles and related teachers who are responsible for preparing teacher candidates pedagogically to become a teacher and observing them during practice section, Mebbis Coordinators who are responsible for teaching technology, Mebbis modules, e-school modules to the future teachers and the FATIH Project coordinators who are responsible for planning in-service training of candidates.
POLITÉCNICO DO PORTO
Politécnico do Porto
Porto Polytechnic is the largest and one of the most dynamic polytechnic schools in the country, emerging as first in the Polytechnic ranking and, along with other major Universities, it is placed in the upper segment of the higher education national ranking. IPP involves more than 20 R&D units, and is the best positioned in international scientific rankings in Portugal.
The School of Accounting and Administration of Porto (ISCAP) is located in S. Mamede de Infesta (Matosinhos), very close to the IPP Campus, offering its 4000-strong student population a range of innovative programmes (6 undergraduate courses including Tourism Management, 8 Master courses including Internationalization and Entrepreneurship, and others).
Over the years ISCAP has been trying to increase its international experience and has been a partner in several international networks, such as AFECA, SPACE, EdiNeb and in SOCRATES/Lifelong Learning Programme, namely in ERASMUS, MINERVA, GRUNDTVIG, COMENIUS and in LEONARDO. Nowadays, ISCAP is involved in several European projects under the LLL Programme, both as partner and coordinator. Its International Office is highly keen on the process of internationalisation and willing to increase the number of exchange programmes (for students, as well as for teachers and other staff) and develop intercultural experiences among its communities, being responsible for the highest rate of students’ mobility in Portugal.
In the last 5 years, ISCAP has participated in several European projects in the scope of SOCRATES/Lifelong Learning Program (Grundtvig – partnership and multilateral-, Leonardo da Vinci – partnership, TOI-, Erasmus – IP) both as coordinator and partner.
