Association “IT World BG” Bulgaria organized the first event to promote the objectives of the project “Gain Time” (www.gaintime.eu) and to disseminate the results of the project so far. The event was held on 21 August 2015 (Friday) in Sofia, hotel “Sveta Sofia”. There were presented the main work packages of the project, current results and plans for the project which ends in September 2016. The NGO Association “IT World BG” is one of eight partners in the project with activities focused on implementation of a platform for e-learning. The main consultant on the project from the Bulgarian side is Mrs. Antoaneta Milanova, head teacher in a secondary school and consultant for the Bulgarian Ministry of Education.
The target group of the event were all who practice or have an interest to practice the flipped training methodology, and professionals engaged in theoretical studies of similar types of innovative learning.
The event started with an online connection with the other partners in the project. Spass Kostov, the Executive Director of Association “IT World BG”, presented first results in the project – a collection of good practices in the field of edutainment and inverted, handbook of the master model for flipped training. There were also presentation from Mrs. Milanova and other secondary teachers – Rositsa Mineva, Dimka Shivacheva, Petya Georgieva, Dina Kirilova. The last part of the event were open discussions on the Bulgarian practices presented in the project and different ideas in the area.
